How to Price Your E-Book

Sunday, December 21st, 2008

You’ve written and compiled an e-book. Now CheckBook have to decide how much to charge for it. Finding the right price is essential to the success Swimsuit your product. If you charge too little, people will think it’s of little value, and they won’t purchase it, or even it they do buy your book, you will have to sell thousands of copies to get to the point where you can begin to see a profit. If you price it too high when compared with your competition, you will find yourself steadily lowering the price, which will cause you all kinds of new problems in the future. For example, if you sell your e-book at first for $39.99, and later reduce it to $24.95, don’t you think the people who bought it for $39.99 are going to be upset?

Choosing the right price for your e-book is one of the most critical parts of the marketing process. The first rule of pricing e-books is to never underprice.

Determine the highest price your audience can afford, and then if you find your book isn’t selling, you can always reduce the price. Before you take that step, make sure you are promoting your book like crazy on the Internet and on websites. The price should be aimed at bringing in profits, but you should never forget that price is one of the factors that people use in judging the value of your e-book - before they buy it. So always start with the highest price, and then launch a mega-marketing campaign.

Pricing an e-book is particularly difficult because e-books are a fairly new commodity. Since they are digital, the value of an e-book is as confusing as the understanding of what digital actually is to the average layperson. This means that we must look at e-books in a different light in order to determine their actual worth in this brave, new cyber world.

Let’s look at the difference between a book in print and an e-book. A printed book is an object you can hold in your hand, store on your bookshelf, even hand down to the next generation. It is priced on factors such as paper stock, design and production costs, and marketing.

But the fact that unites e-books and print books is that they are composed of ideas. It is the ideas in these books that have the ability to change, or possibly transform, people’s lives.

What do you think an idea is worth when evaluated against the Sleep of paper and ink?

It is the IDEAS that are valuable! That is how you determine the cost of your e-book.

What should I charge for my ideas?

There are all different formulas and methods for determining the correct price for your e-book. Let’s begin with honing in on your ultimate goals.

Decide if your goal is to get wide distribution and maximum exposure. This goal is aimed at drawing customers to your business or service, or to establishing the credibility of your reputation. If this is your main goal, you should aim to keep your price on the low side. Some authors have even priced their e-books at a profit loss to draw a high number of new customers. The key is to find a price that maximizes your profits and the number of books you sell.

This is an excellent pricing strategy if you are looking to acquire long-term customers. Long-term customers are extremely likely to buy from you again and again - as long as the first e-book they buy is of exceptional quality and beneficial to the customer.

However, if your book contains valuable - and more importantly NEW information, references, or techniques - then you should aim to price it on the high end.

After you figure out your goal, you must figure out what your audience’s need is for your e-book. For example, does your book solve a particular problem? If it does, and solves it in a way that hasn’t been written about in one hundred other e-books, you will be able to achieve high sales at a high price. If your book solves a problem or answers questions in a new and unique way, you should price your book as high as you can go. You will achieve larger profits this way, but bring in fewer customers. Just make sure the question or problem that your book solves is one that is important and relevant to the majority of your market audience. If your ideas are not common knowledge, or you are presenting a brand new technique, you will be able to sell books at a high price. Just be prepared for your competition to undercut you on price as soon as they hear about your book.

Keep in mind that the above pricing strategy is temporary. Eventually, you will cease to sell books at this high price. So figure out in advance how long you plan to offer your e-book at this high price, and when that time is up, change your pricing strategy.

If you want to see large profits over customer draw, aim for an audience that is looking for easy solutions to their problems at a low price. If your book is aimed at solving one particular problem rather than general advice, then you can charge more. Start at the highest price the market will bear to bring in the largest profits, and plan to discount the book a number of times throughout the year.

Marketing Strategies

The key that unlocks the sales potential of your e-book is to find a single sentence that becomes your selling handle. This sentence states what question or problem your book answers and the benefits your e-book can provide. Then be sure to use that sentence in every piece of sales and promotional material, and every time anyone asks you about your e-book.

Besides promoting your books assiduously online, there are several other strategies that can help you sell more books.

One is to give something away for free with your book, such as a valuable bonus item. Or bundle several e-books under one price, which lowers the price for each e-book if they were sold separately.

An effective technique for figuring out a price is to send out a survey to your current customers. If these customers have already bought an e-book from you, ask for their opinion in terms of price. Do this by creating a sales page for the new book, but don’t include a price on that page. Instead, add a number of links to survey questions that ask pointed questions to aid you in assigning a price to your e-book.

Another strategy is to test out prices by creating a number of duplicate sales pages with different prices on each page. Make sure your sales copy is exactly the same on every page, and includes your selling-handle sentence. Then figure out for each page the conversion ratio between visitors to your site and sales of your book. This will tell you what your optimum price is.

Ultimately, if you’ve written a book that solves a problem or presents a new technique, your book will bring in both traffic and profits. So be sure to write that selling-handle sentence that sums up what problem your book solves and what the benefits of your book will be to the customers who purchase it. And then watch your market come to you!

Affiliate Marketer Online Survival

Saturday, December 20th, 2008

Affiliate Marketers never stop looking for successful niches/industry and products that would give out bigger paychecks. Some Affiliate Marketers even say that there is a secret and by putting some pieces together they got from ideas of others they even present that they already hold the secret. Actually there is no such big secret, the Mens Fashion is out there its true but the real formula or key is actually you, yourself (The Affiliate Marketer).

When you read ebooks and analyze all what they are saying you will notice that if you put the words in simple terms, they all lead to the same fundamentals it’s just a matter of learning how to put them into action.

There are some strategies that worked before and are still working very well until now, good affiliate marketers will agree that the following points are essential in succeeding and important to an Affiliate Marketers Online Survival.

Knowing Your Target Market (Niche)

An Affiliate Marketer must know the targeted hungry crowd to where he or she will be focusing his or her marketing campaign. Actually this is where every campaign should start, knowing what people are looking for and identifying this group will make it easier to find the right product that you, the Affiliate Marketer, will offer them.

The task is very daunting; it involves a lot of research, understanding, patience and perseverance. But if done correctly not only that you will find the right product for your market, converting this market into buyers will also be a lot easier.

Having a Unique and Simple Web Page

Most new Affiliate Marketers are scared of this and fails to realize the advantage and flexibility of creating a web page for each product they are marketing. Some do make their web pages but they lump together Mens Fashion products to cut down the expense on their hosting or maybe on the time in building their site. It is most of the time as a best practice to have a site focusing on each and every product you market, one product-one web site.

It is also a good practice to make an honest review page of the product being marketed to give your target market a bird’s eye view of the product, testimonials of people who used the product are also great as long as they are not fabricated and including their name and photo also shows more credibility, just make sure you have their permission to do so.

There are a lot of strategies involved in creating a website to make it search engine optimized and customer friendly, and because of the advancement in technology, there are tools now available that allows an ordinary person who doesn’t know anything about the programming language in creating a website, create a website by just typing in the content like typing in a word document and with just few clicks of the mouse you already have a content rich web page.

Information, guides and even tutorials are also available online but since you are an Affiliate Marketer, my suggestion is join an Affiliate Program that already provides the necessary tools and information for you to learn everything under one program and at the same time apply what you learn and earn income as you go forward.

Reach Out To Your Target Market

An Affiliate Marketer’s real work falls here, once you know your target market and you have the right product to offer, it is time to let your target market know that you are there, you exist and you have the answer on what they are looking for. One of the long time running strategy in getting traffic to your site that still works very well until now is writing articles, although this eats up time it however gives long term advantage without Mens Fashion Most Internet Marketer do start from here, this is a very effective way in raking in your targeted customers because you have full control on how your article will play out. You write an article as concise as possible to your product, keeping your focus on your targeted crowed, in effect people who will be seeing your articles will be primarily those belonging to your target market because they will be searching the internet using words or phrases related to your products and specific sub-industry to where your products belong.

If you write relevant articles with unique and quality content, this will stay being seen over the internet for months and even years, this means free traffic to your site which will bring continuous income. At first 1 article a day will get the ball rolling and as you get the hang of it you increase the number of articles that you write per day and it only requires 300-600 words for a single article. Of course you need to do research also for your content and this is easy because most of the information you will need is scattered all over the internet, you just collate, organize and make it simple for your readers to understand.

Keep Track Of Your Potential Customers and Communicate With Them

This is one of the most important points that some Internet Marketers tend to overlook. This is also were a little knowledge on how to create a simple website and knowing a little bit of HTML will go a long way for your Internet Business. First you should collect emails of people who come and visit your website by creating a simple web page that will allow your site visitors to leave there name and email address (popularly called squeeze page) so that you can follow up with them. You can also give away free reports or news letter of useful information related to your target market or product to encourage your visitor to leave their information.

If you own the product website and have control over the programming codes, you can also put the simple sign up box within your product web page itself. You will also need one important tool which is called an autoresponder which will give you the code for the sign up box and manage the collection of your list of customer name and email address as well as sending your messages out to your list automatically.

One other important tip is communicating with your list of customer, whether the customer is just a potential customer or already a paying customer, you should maintain communication. Saying hello, giving some out of the blue tips or current events that you think is useful making them feel that you are there, a real person communicating with them builds trust and good relationship. This will result in increasing your chances of closing a deal or even having a repeat sale on the same customer.

With just these points, an Affiliate Marketer stands a better chance in surviving online and building a long term Internet Business.

How to turn Traffic to Money?

The way you can turn traffic into money in blogs is to make a blogs specifically that will sell some particular product. There are few things you need to understand to start making money Fashion blogs:

Find a good niche. Some niches can works really good and sells but some are not really profitable. Before making keyword research you have to think what people are buying on the internet. It can be music, books, electronics, travel, personal development. But there are certainly more profitable niches than this.

You have to find niche that have some associated product, ebook you can sell, also AdWord advertisers for this niche.

In some niches people are just looking to find some information and leave. They won’t click your AdSense ads and if you don’t have anything to sell you loose. In other niches can be inverse, more people are determined to find information and more likely will click your ads.

To make a lot of money in AdSense you will need tens and hundreds of blogs. It’s all numbers game. That’s why there are a lot of on the markets programs like: automated forum posting, automated directory posting, automated guestbook posting, automated blog builders, automated website builders.

The problem can be with it that all this software require some knowledge either about php, html or operating systems. Many of such programs also have a lot of bugs. Some developers don’t update theirs programs. Also there can be operation system problem, program is made for windows XP and won’t work on any other operating systems.

There are also so called Article Content Generation programs. Just Google it. Kitchen this software do is grab some articles and change some word and phrases and in this way create thousands of unique variations of one article. I don’t recommend it to use other people articles just use for your own if you want to post such articles to many places.

Article Submission Software - there are a lot of this, but manually takes some time. Be sure that your articles look right before submitting to all these directories.

The good way to start is promote on your blog some low cost products for $10 in example. That will sell easier and faster.

The more articles, blogs you will create in long term more money you will make. In the beginning you may earn just a couple of dollars but it will raise very fast after time.

Teaching With Teleseminars - How To Reach More People & Increase Your Income With Teleseminars

Friday, December 19th, 2008

My business really took off after I began using teleseminars. I was teaching the exact same material and content, showing people how Hockey write articles and ebooks and market their work on the internet. But within weeks of starting my weekly teleseminars, I had clients and prospects from all over the world. These are the 7 reasons I believe Cowboy Boots teleseminars made all the difference.

· When people hear your voice and can talk to you during the call, they come to know and trust you much more quickly.

· You can cover much more material during a teleseminar, thereby making the call much more worthwhile for your listeners.

· Email is very unreliable these days. Everyone can use a telephone and a teleseminar page to receive the information you want to give them.

· Teleseminars can be interactive, which is of great value to your listeners. They can receive an immediate answer to their question, which is very valuable to them.

· Teleseminar classes are recorded so that people can listen to them again or for the first time whenever the time is convenient for them. This is referred to as time shifting and makes sense for our busy lifestyles of today.

· A call has a much higher perceived value than a course that is conducted exclusively by email.

· With a teleseminar you can teach many people at one time, while still having the Medical of a phone call. If you speak for an hour and have 12 people on the call, you will effectively save eleven hours of training by holding a teleseminar instead of teaching one to one.

Based on these 7 reasons I have doubled my income and changed my business model. I encourage you to find out more about teaching people by using teleseminars in your business.

And now I invite you to join me for free weekly teleseminars that will teach you how to write, market, and sell your articles and ebook to increase your visibility, credibility and passive income by visiting http://www.EbookWritingandMarketingSecrets.com

Affiliate Marketing And Work At Home

Wednesday, December 17th, 2008

Affiliate marketing and the concept of work from home can lead to a very successful endeavour. Today there are many good reasons that make this growing trend more and more popular. To begin, it is generally believed that the average person spends around Cleaning Supplies hours every day commuting to the workplace. This is a tremendous amount of “non-productive dead-time”, to say nothing of the costs of commuting. Also, in a lot of families both parents are working which leads to the expense of daycare.

Work at home opportunities are increasing every day. Affiliate marketing is a good fit for someone who is interested in a home based business. The initial start-up costs of a work-at-home enterprise are not that great. Most home based businesses need a reliable computer, telephone, photocopier, and a fax machine. Office supplies will account for a small monthly outlay.

Of course, the main ingredient in all this is the actual business itself. There are many different commercial endeavours that can lead to the earning of a respectable income. Just go on the Internet and you will be presented with a very wide range of opportunities. Work at home means that your home is actually your office. Many working situations on the Web lend themselves to work at home endeavours A lot of the opportunities on the Internet only require the use of a computer to do one’s daily work. Affiliate marketing involves 2 or more partners that have a common goal. That goal involves a plan that has the affiliate marketer promoting a product, service, or program to the Cleaning Supplies The whole marketing plan,in our example, will be conducted on the Internet. The manufacturer or developer of the product is responsible for all aspects of the commercial arrangement. The manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, accounting, and the after-sales requirements are not the domain of the affiliate marketer. Work at home situations sometimes require that the promoter or marketer maintain an inventory of the product line. However, the vast majority of affiliate marketers handle basically only “electronic paperwork”

Affiliate Marketing and “Work at Home” go hand in hand. Most homes can spare an office area so that the home based business can be run efficiently. The estimated 2 hours or more of daily commuting time can now be spent in a much more productive manner. Its no wonder that home based businesses are increasing in numbers every day. They say that the “work at home” industry is the fastest growing industry in North America.

Bruce Fraser is an affiliate of several internet programs. Although new to the Web, he draws from his previous “careers” in the “real world”. The author spent almost 20 years in Sales/Marketing. More recently he headed Cleaning Supplies his own residential renovations contracting firm.

To Adsense or Not To Adsense

Tuesday, December 16th, 2008

Well to start with, if you are already an established webmaster, then you need not heed my words. Because, you would then know Hockey works on a site and what does not. This article is meant for newbie webmasters and bloggers who are in the dual search of gaining traffic to their websites and making money from their pages.

I presume that you have already zeroed in on the Cowboy Boots of your site or a blog. The next thing you would think on is what are the subcategories(you know them as Links) that you can sum up on the main page, and also what else you are going to present on the main page so that the visitor understands what this site is for.

Now comes the question, To Adsense or not to Adsense…(If you do not know what Adsense is, they are Google Sponsored context-targetted ads that you can place on your sites which can earn you money when someone clicks on them).

I will take two similar examples and bring out the subtle difference between them to let you know which site will make profit from Adsense. Let us consider two hypothetical sites A and B.

Let us say that site A brings out reviews of all science-fiction books in the market. The homepage gives a brief idea about the site and this is linked to all the reviews, one review per page.

And now take site B which also deals with science fiction books, but focussses on the writing aspect. In short site B teaches people how to write such a book.

Now, guess which will make more Adsense money? Lets take it on a case-on-case basis. Site A, no matter brings out the review on every possible Science fiction book in market. But Adsense ads are context targetted. That is, Google scans through the page and provides ads based on the words it sees on a page. That means the first book could Medical with Michael on his time machine and second book could deal with Rob on his rocket. Do you think the ads would be very relevant to the visitor. The ads would then pertain to rocket science books and stuff which the visitor is not likely to click.

But take Site B. Here every page is likely to deal with how to write such a book. And when Adsense scans through such a page, it provides ads about sites that also provide writing skills and techniques; very relevant to the context of the site. That means the visitor is more likely to click on the ads.

And what about the owner of Site A? Will he make money? Why not, since the site deals with book reviews, the visitor is more likely to proceed to purchase the book. So provide Amazon links to the books which is likely to get you commissions in tens of dollars rather in cents in case of Adsense ads.

So, it should always be a wise decision to choose the kind of ads that you serve on a site, because too many ads on a site is likely to make the visitor tired of your site and you might end not seeing him again.

Your Email Marketing Solution Could Be A Tips List, Newsletter Or Ezine

Monday, December 15th, 2008

You have to determine, based on your niche market, just what type of email marketing system or solution you plan to put in place. Your system or solution will be built around an email marketing tips list, newsletter or ezine. How do you decide what type of content to run?

Let’s define three basic email marketing list types.

Email marketing Tips List.

The email marketing Tips List Fashion set up with ‘evergreen content’, which means that the emails are not date or season sensitive. You can load Kitchen many tips as you like into the auto responder and set the delivery schedule according to your preference.

These tips are usually based on the niche market you are promoting. If you were an Affiliate marketer your email marketing program could be built around basic tips on email marketing itself, article writing, keyword research, etc. As long as you stay with the basics this information will be good for many years to come.

If you want subscribers to receive one tip from you each week - you only need to provide 52 tips and the list will run without interruption for a whole year. In this manner each subscriber will always get every tip from the very beginning of the series.

You can add to your email tips list whenever you desire. This is one of the simplest and easiest email marketing solutions and probable the most time savvy way to run a mailing list. You can even outsource your tips writing to a ghostwriter and just add in personal remarks and P.S. message to each one.

Email Marketing with Newsletters.

A great email marketing strategy is the use of a Newsletter. As I am defining a newsletter here it is built around the products or services you offer and has as it’s primary purpose, the goal of promoting those products or services through showing people how they could benefit from them.

This method is usually not as “evergreen” as an email marketing tips list but if you have a good solid program the changes to your email content will be minimal and will have to be made only when the product is updated.

Your Ezine Marketing Solution.

The email marketing strategy for your Ezine is usually based on a more in depth publication offering a variety of articles and content centered on a topic of interest. The good thing about Ezine marketing is that your can promote a large variety of products to your audience.

You can use an Ezine to not only promote your products but also to sell ad space to other marketers for them to promote theirs. This can be a nice little extra income for your business.

You could prepare your Ezine with evergreen content and load it into an auto responder just like the newsletter or Tips List. This could workout alright as long as you keep your information basic but most often you will want to provide the content fresh each issue to keep up with what is going on in your niche. In my opinion, for a periodic Ezine fresh is the way to go.

The good thing about and Ezine is that it usually goes out monthly or biweekly. You have plenty of time to write your copy and setup your ads.

What Email Marketing Solution Should You Use.

Each of the email marketing programs listed above work very well in most any niche marketing area. In my opinion, for what I call the self improvement industry where you are helping people to build a better life, a combination of an email marketing tips list and a newsletter work best.

This way you can setup an “evergreen” content rich email marketing tips system that you can add to over time and promote with newsletters and product reviews in between. This way you can show people how to benefit from new products that will help them better use the tips you are giving them.

It also Kitchen you th opportunity to send out JV emails without removing any of your regular marketing tips emails from your series and without emailing your list multiple times a day.

Either way you decide to setup your email marketing program, just remember that one of the things that is of paramount importance is to build a relationship with your subscribers. This is done best with good content and programs that meet the desires of your list
